CalTalk (“the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we (don’t) collect and how the App works.

1. No Personal Accounts

   The App does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email, or other personal identifiers. You can use it immediately after download.

2. Third-Party Services

   To provide core functionality, the App uses the following services:

   • WhisperAI – to convert voice to text.
   • OpenAI API – to find, analyze, and summarize food data.
   • Firebase Remote Config – to update certain app settings remotely.
   • GoogleAnalytics – to collect anonymous usage statistics such as country, city, device type, and app version.

   These services may receive non-identifiable information (e.g. event data, IP address) to operate correctly. No personally identifiable information is sent.

3. No Advertising

   The App does not include advertising and does not sell or share user data with advertisers.

4. Children’s Privacy

   The App is safe for use by all age groups. Since no accounts or personal identifiers are collected, the App complies with children’s privacy requirements.

5. Changes to This Policy

   If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
